A Morning Among the Roses


Extended Family Photography at Rogers Rose Garden, Hamilton



The Rogers Rose Garden is one of my favourite spots for extended family sessions in Hamilton — especially between September and February, when the roses are in full bloom and the garden is at its most vibrant.

This session was captured on a summer morning between 10am and 12pm. Even with the sun high in the sky, the abundance of shade from large trees meant we could still create soft, flattering images — perfect for families who need an earlier time slot.


It’s also a super practical location:

• Playground nearby for little ones

• Toilets close by (a lifesaver with kids and grandparents!)

• Free entry, even for visitors from out of town
