You’ve been meaning to book a family photoshoot for ages. The kids are growing faster than you can keep up, and you're always the one behind the camera capturing everyone else. Yet somehow, life keeps getting in the way, and you keep putting it off.  


Or maybe when you finally do think about booking, the idea of making everyone look nice, keeping the kids in line, and dragging your partner along who’d honestly rather be anywhere else... it feels a bit much.

Still, deep down, you know how quickly this season is passing and how precious it really is.


That’s where I come in.


Whether we’re capturing your crew outdoors during golden hour or in the comfort of your home, my sessions are warm, relaxed, and full of connection. I always capture a few portraits where everyone is looking (the ones grandparents love), but the heart of our session is spent documenting real moments — the cuddles, the chaos, the laughter and the quiet hand-holds.

You’ll be gently guided the whole way, so no one is left feeling unsure or awkward. Even the most reluctant dads usually admit they enjoyed the experience more than expected. With three young children of my own, I know how to keep things playful and relaxed, no matter the energy your little ones bring on the day.


This is about more than just ticking something off the to-do list. It's about finally getting beautiful images with your children — the ones that show you being present, loving, and seen.


These are the photos you'll frame. The ones your kids will look back on. The ones that remind you of just how good this life really is, even in the mess of it.

The Process:

1: Booking in


Reach out via the contact page to secure your date and have any additional questions answered. Once your booking fee has been paid, securing your date in my calendar, I'll send through all the information needed to help you prepare for the experience.

2: arrive and settle


You’ve done the hard part — now you get to exhale. I’ll guide you gently so you can relax and simply soak in the beauty of this precious time and moment with your whānau.

3: IMAGE DELIVERY


After your session, I’ll carefully select and edit your photos. This process takes about 3-4 weeks, after which you’ll receive your gallery filled with heartfelt, authentic moments to treasure for years to come.

FAQ

What do we wear?

I always recommend dressing in a way that feels most comfortable to you. That being said, certain colours and styles definitely photograph better than others so once you have confirmed your booking I will provide you with a pdf guide which will have all the information you need about what to wear and how to prepare.

How far do you travel?

80km return travel is included in all sessions. This includes Raglan, Cambridge, Morrinsville, Huntly, Te Awamutu & Pirongia.

There is a $150 fee for 81km-120km return travel. This includes Otorohanga, Putāruru, Te Kauwata, Te Aroha, and Whangamatā.

There is a $200 fee for 120km - 180km return travel. This includes Tauranga, Papamoa, Katikati, Pauanui, Waihi, Whangamatā.

For travel outside of these distances please get in touch for a custom quote.

What happens if it's raining?

I try and book these sessions in for 9:30/10am to align with toddler nap times and usually aim to get their photos done first so that once their time is done they can go and play/have some snacks. I also have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to make the photoshoot feel like "fun" for them to help get the shot.

why do you only do these during "golden hour"?

Some babies need more time to feed and settle which is why the session can last up to 3 hours. All sessions are baby led so even if your little one is needing a little more support on the day, we'll simply follow their lead, spending most of our time capturing them in mum or dads arms

what if my kids don't behave?

As long as everyone is ready when I arrive, I can usually have the session complete in 1.5hours. If baby is cluster feeding or needing a lot of time to settle though, the session can last up to 3 hours.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

Final galleries are delivered by 4 weeks after the session.

Do you do payment plans?

I require your booking fee to be paid in full to book and your package to be paid in full by the date of your session.

You are welcome however, to pay for your package in advance with weekly/fortnightly instalments that suit your budget via an AP if this is easier for you.
